Pumpkin smoothie
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To prepare a pumpkin smoothie, take some fresh or frozen pumpkin (in this case, fresh frozen pumpkin is used), fruit drinking yogurt and fruit, in this case fresh apricots - it’s summer, you need to use seasonal fruit more often.
STEP 2
Rinse the apricots well under running water and pat dry with a paper towel or napkin. Choose riper and softer fruits; you will need 2 apricots for 2 servings of smoothie.
STEP 3
I have frozen pumpkin cut into cubes. If you have it whole, then you need to peel it and cut it into pieces convenient for stewing or short cooking. I prefer to cook the pumpkin until soft, it tastes better that way. I do this in the microwave - literally 3-4 minutes at maximum power, and the pumpkin becomes soft and ready to eat.
STEP 4
All ingredients can be combined by simply cutting them into small pieces and diluting with yogurt. This option is also quite acceptable for lovers of textured food, in this case drinks. But still, we are accustomed to smoothies in the form of a smooth drink consistency. Therefore, let's take a blender and first place softened pumpkin in its glass.
STEP 5
Remove the seeds from the prepared apricots and also place them in the blender bowl with the pumpkin.
STEP 6
Add drinking sweetened yogurt.
STEP 7
If you are using unsweetened yogurt, add a little sugar if desired. I had strawberry yogurt and there was no need to sweeten it additionally.
STEP 8
That's all - all that remains is to beat the ingredients in a glass until smooth. I punched a little at low speed, and then increased it and punched a little more until foam appeared.
STEP 9
That's all, a great delicious pumpkin smoothie is ready! I served it for an afternoon snack, my husband and I really liked it, try it!
