Our whole family loves the combination of potatoes and meat, especially when stewed. The best way to stew potatoes and pork is in a slow cooker. In this miracle technique, the meat turns out incredibly tender, and the potatoes are enveloped in a velvety sauce! This time I had pork with fat, which already promises to make the finished meat juicy and soft. I usually chop carrots coarsely, but at the moment I only had grated ones. I set the multicooker to “fry” for 20 minutes. I fried the pork for the first 15 minutes until golden brown, then added the onions and carrots, stirred and closed the lid. During this time, the vegetables were lightly fried. I took more potatoes, so I also poured more water (hot). Plus I love potato gravy. After stirring, the water immediately acquired a golden color - the carrots fried in oil gave away the carotene. I stewed this tasty and satisfying dish for exactly an hour. And it remained heated for another 20 minutes while I was busy. It is very comfortable! Fresh potatoes and meat are especially good! And even with a delicate broth in which you can dip the bread).
