Evelyn Garcia

Since childhood, the kitchen has been a place of magic for me: the smell of freshly baked bread and my mother’s pies at family holidays created an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. With each new recipe, I traveled to different countries, absorbing the aromas and traditions of world cuisines. I want to share this love and show that cooking is simple and interesting. In my culinary value system, everyone is important: from discussing recipes with my grandmother to cooking together with friends. Cooking is about sharing your soul, and I believe everyone is capable of creating something beautiful in their kitchen.

I graduated from the faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Vancouver Island University.
