Pickled cucumbers gherkins
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to pickle crispy gherkins for the winter? Rinse the cucumbers thoroughly, cut off the ends and soak in cold water for several hours. The amount of cucumbers and other ingredients in the recipe is calculated for 1 liter jar. Please note that depending on the size of the gherkins, a slightly larger or slightly smaller number of cucumbers may fit in the jar. STEP 2
At the bottom of a sterilized jar, place a clove of garlic, a leaf of bay leaf, 3 peas of black and allspice, an umbrella of dill. You will learn about methods of sterilizing jars by reading the article at the end of this recipe.
STEP 3
Boil water in a saucepan. Meanwhile, fill the jars with gherkins up to the shoulders. Fill with boiling water and cover with boiled lids, leave until the water cools.
STEP 4
Pour the water back into the pan, heat it, add salt, sugar, then vinegar, bring to a boil. Pour the boiling marinade over the gherkins and roll up.
STEP 5
Turn the jars over, wrap them up and leave until cool.
