STEP 1
How to make Belarusian sorcerers with minced meat? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I took minced pork, you can use a combination (pork and beef).
STEP 2
Wash the previously peeled onions and grate them on a fine grater.
STEP 3
Place half of the prepared onion into the minced meat. Salt the minced meat, add ground black pepper, mix well.
STEP 4
Peel the potatoes, pre-washed in running water, and grate them on a fine grater.
STEP 5
Squeeze out excess juice from the grated potatoes, but not too much. The potato mixture should not be too wet. But you don’t need to make it too dry, otherwise it will be difficult to mold the sorcerers.
STEP 6
Add half the egg, flour, remaining onions to the prepared potato mixture, add salt and mix well.
STEP 7
To form the sorcerers, lay out a layer of potato mixture in the form of a small cake.
STEP 8
Place a portion of minced meat on it.
STEP 9
Cover the top with potato mixture again.
STEP 10
Give the sorcerer the desired shape. You can make it oval, like a cutlet, or give it a round shape.
STEP 11
Form all the sorcerers in the same way.
STEP 12
Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the prepared sorcerers. Fry them over moderate heat until golden brown on one side.
STEP 13
Turn the sorcerers over to the other side and fry until golden brown.
STEP 14
Grease the bottom of the mold with vegetable oil, lay out the fried sorcerers. You can cover the mold with foil on top so that the sorcerers do not dry out and are juicy.
STEP 15
Bring the sorcerers to full readiness in an oven preheated to 180°C for 20 minutes. You can cook the sorcerers only in a frying pan. Then they need to be slowly fried over moderate heat so that the minced meat filling has time to fully cook.
STEP 16
Serve the sorcerers hot as a separate dish. You can supplement them with fresh vegetables and herbs. You can also serve sorcerers with sour cream. Bon appetit!
