STEP 1
How to fry potato pancakes with onions and flour in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them in running water to remove any dirt.
STEP 2
Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Then finely chop the onion. Heat a frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and fry it over low heat for 3-4 minutes. During frying, the onion will become softer and begin to brown slightly.
STEP 3
Grate the peeled potatoes on a coarse grater. If juice appears, it must be drained.
STEP 4
Do not leave the grated potatoes standing so that they do not darken. Immediately add the fried onion to it.
STEP 5
Next add flour. Add salt and spices to taste. Mix all ingredients.
STEP 6
Depending on the juiciness of the potatoes, you may need a little more or less flour. The finished potato mixture will be quite thick.
STEP 7
Place pancakes on a heated frying pan with a spoon and fry them in vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes on each side. If you cook them uncovered, they will be crispy on the outside. And if you cook under the lid, they will become soft and steamed.
STEP 8
During frying, the potato pancakes will turn golden brown. Remove them from the pan and place them on a plate.
STEP 9
Add ready-made potato pancakes with onions and flour with sour cream and serve. Bon appetit!
