I really wanted potato pancakes. But I like to eat them with sour cream, unfortunately I didn’t have it at home. But I made this sauce, took lard, cut it into small pieces, fried the cracklings and mixed it with cottage cheese, it turned out very fatty, but tasty. I like potato pancakes with onions because they cook quickly, I make them on a large grater, I really like it when the edges fry and become crispy.

I haven’t tried making potato pancakes with onions before. I usually make it without onions. I liked this experiment. The family also appreciated it. I grated the potatoes on a fine grater, I like it better, the structure of the potato pancakes is more uniform. Very tasty with sour cream! Thanks to the author

Draniki with potatoes and onions turned out very tasty, filling and soft. There was some vegetable oil left, so I blotted the finished pancakes with a paper towel. And yes, I served it with sour cream and mushroom sauce.
