Potato nests with cockerels in the oven

STEP 1

Boil the potatoes. Make mashed potatoes with milk using any convenient method. Fry the minced meat with finely chopped onion in oil. Boil three eggs, leave one raw.

Beat the raw egg into the mashed potatoes and mix well.
STEP 3

Grease the baking dish with oil. Divide the puree into six even parts and form nests out of them.
STEP 4

Distribute the minced meat and onions evenly among the potato nests.
STEP 5

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Spread most of the cheese evenly over the minced meat on the potato nests. Bake the nests for 15 minutes.
STEP 6

Meanwhile, use the remaining ingredients to prepare the chicken.
STEP 7

Separate the yolks from the whites of three boiled eggs.
STEP 8

Chop the whites well with a fork.
STEP 9

Add cottage cheese and mayonnaise to the proteins. Knead everything well.
STEP 10

Chop the yolks just as well with a fork.
STEP 11

Roll a ball from one teaspoon of the protein-curd mixture and roll it in grated yolk.
STEP 12

You need to form twelve such balls. Prepare the dish by decorating the bottom with lettuce leaves.
STEP 13

Place the baked nests on a plate. Form a chicken from two balls on top of the nest. Cut scallops and beaks from boiled small carrots and place them in their places on the chicken’s head. Use peppercorns or cloves to make eyes for the chickens.
STEP 14

Place chicks in all six nests this way. The nests with cockerels are ready - you can serve them. Bon appetit!
