Pizza with sausage, mushrooms and cheese
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make homemade pizza with sausage, mushrooms and cheese? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can take any sausage you like. I made it from boiled and smoked sausage, but you can add meat, chicken and even bacon. Tomato sauce can be replaced with regular ketchup.
STEP 2
Add sugar, salt and yeast to warm water and stir until smooth. The water should be just warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast in it will die. Read about all the intricacies of working with yeast in a separate article (link at the end of the recipe).
STEP 3
Pour in vegetable oil and stir.
STEP 4
Sift the flour through a fine sieve and add it in parts to the water with the yeast. Depending on the quality of flour, you may need a little more or a little less. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. Knead into a soft, non-sticky dough. Knead it on the table for at least 5-7 minutes, then it will turn out to be the desired consistency. Grease a deep bowl with vegetable oil and place the dough in it.
STEP 5
Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and leave in a warm place to rise for about 30 minutes. During this time, the dough should increase 2-2.5 times.
STEP 6
Turn the oven on 180 degrees. Lightly flour the table and place the risen dough on it. Roll out the dough into a thin circle and make a thin edge. This amount makes one large pizza or two medium ones. Roll the dough around the rolling pin and transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or silicone mat. You can choose the right parchment paper by reading the article about the features of parchment, the link is at the end of the recipe.
STEP 7
Brush the dough and sides with tomato sauce.
STEP 8
Wipe the champignons well with a cloth and cut into thin slices. Spread the mushrooms over the entire surface of the pizza. If you don’t have fresh mushrooms, you can replace them with canned ones. You just need to drain the liquid and dry the mushrooms.
STEP 9
Cut the boiled sausage into strips and sprinkle on top of the champignons.
STEP 10
Peel the smoked sausage, cut into strips and spread over the entire surface of the pizza.
STEP 11
Grate the cheese on a fine grater and completely cover the top of the pizza.
STEP 12
Place the pan with the pizza in the hot oven and bake for about 20 minutes until done. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.
STEP 13
Remove the finished pizza from the oven, cut it using a special roller knife and serve immediately while it is hot.
STEP 14
Bon appetit!
