STEP 1
How to bake chicken rolls with mushrooms and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use ready-made portioned skinless fillets. If you have a whole breast on the bone, then you need to separate the fillet from it and remove the skin.
STEP 2
Wash the chicken fillet in running water and dry. On each fillet in the middle, make a deep cut, not reaching the end, and open it like a book.

Cover the fillet with cling film or a plastic bag and beat it with a hammer into a layer about 5 mm thick, trying not to break the integrity - there should be no holes in the resulting layer through which meat juice can flow out or the filling can fall out. It is very convenient to use a rolling pin instead of a hammer.

Season the fillet with salt, pepper, sprinkle with chicken spices and leave for 20-30 minutes. You can use any spices to suit your taste.

While the fillet is marinating, prepare the filling.

If necessary, peel, wash, dry and cut the mushrooms into small thin slices.

Wash the bell pepper in running water, remove seeds and stems, and cut lengthwise into thin strips.

Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife. Wash the greens in running water, dry and finely chop.

Add garlic and herbs, salt and pepper. Mix everything. Remove the pan from the heat and cool the filling.

Add grated cheese to the cooled filling and stir.

On each fillet, stepping back from the edges, evenly distribute the cheese and mushroom filling.

Place 5-6 strips of bell pepper in the middle.

Roll each fillet into a tight roll. Form the rest of the chicken rolls in the same way. For reliability, you can tie the rolls with culinary thread.

Wrap each roll tightly in foil.

Place the rolls in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake the chicken rolls in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 30-35 minutes. It’s better to bake in the “top-bottom” mode.
