    Preparing yeast dough. Heat the milk in a saucepan to a temperature of 40 degrees, pour it into a bowl for kneading dough, add yeast, salt and sugar, pour in melted butter. Mix everything well. We begin to pour in the sifted flour in parts, first knead with a spoon, when the dough thickens, transfer it to the table and knead with your hands.

    Knead the soft dough, make a ball out of it, transfer it to a bowl, cover with a towel or cling film and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

    Knead the risen dough and roll it into a thin layer with a rolling pin.

    For the filling, peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into thin slices. We clean and chop the onion. Cut the fish fillet into large pieces or use whole fish fillets. Place the dough on a baking sheet greased with oil. Place a layer of potatoes on top, salt and pepper to taste. Next comes the fish fillet and onion on top.

    Along the edges, cut the dough into strips and place them overlapping the filling. Cover the pie and let it rise for another 20 minutes. Brush with beaten egg and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes - it will become golden brown. That's all, now you know how to bake fish soup!

I agree! The fish pie is very tasty, I actually also put 2-3 small pieces of bay leaf on the onion. and if the pie is closed, then before “planting” it in the oven, I pierce it all over the pie with a fork. This will remove excess moisture from the pie and the dough will not be soggy. When the pie is baked, I immediately grease it with butter and sprinkle coarsely ground breadcrumbs on top.
