I was very happy when I saw on the website a recipe for crumb cake in the oven with cottage cheese! After all, this is one of my favorite pies. It contains a lot of cottage cheese and crispy shortbread crumbs! I prepared the dough in a blender, it’s faster and easier for me. Although I used to grind it with my hands or chop it with a knife, this makes the crumbs larger. I also whipped the filling with a blender; we like it when the filling is smooth and homogeneous. For lovers of curd crumbs, of course, it’s better to just mix everything with a fork or whisk. There are a lot of eggs in the filling, so it hardens perfectly during baking. Even when warm, the pie slices perfectly. Before kneading the dough and making the filling, I added the number of servings so that I got 800 g of cottage cheese. Therefore, my pie came out larger in size; I baked it in a rectangular glass pan for 1 hour. Very tasty pie! The crumbs are crunchy, the filling is tender!
