New Year's Vegetarian Coat Salad

A good recipe for a holiday and for every day! Vegetarian fur coat, prepared using seaweed and sour cream mayonnaise, is light. The dish does not leave a feeling of heaviness. Instead of sour cream, you can use any other mayonnaise without using eggs. It is enough to cool the salad, and it is ready to serve, because... chopped vegetables are already mixed with the sauce!

    Peel cooled boiled potatoes, carrots and beets. Prepare Adyghe cheese and seaweed.

    Combine and mix all the necessary ingredients for the sauce. Add more regular salt if necessary.

    Grate the potatoes on a fine grater, add 4 tbsp. sauce, stir.

    Place a layer of “mayonnaise” (2-3 tbsp), smooth it out. Chop the seaweed with a knife or cut it with scissors so that there are no long “strands”. Layer out.

    Next comes a layer of grated Adyghe cheese.

    We also grate the boiled carrots on a fine grater and mix them with a spoonful of mayonnaise. Distribute in the next layer. You can use more carrots, or you can not use them at all.

    Mix the rest of the sauce with finely grated boiled beets, add a final layer, and smooth out. The salad should be put in the refrigerator for an hour to cool.

    In addition to the general large form, you can serve the “fur coat” in portions, using shaped metal forms or a regular plastic bottle, cut at both ends to form a cylinder.

I have long been interested in the combination of products in the vegetarian New Year's fur coat salad. I was delighted when I tried this salad! All products are available, which is good news. I boiled potatoes and carrots separately from the beets. I grated them on a medium grater and mixed them separately with sour cream sauce. I have seaweed in the form of a ready-made salad. It's spicy and most importantly delicious. I advise you not to just throw it on a sieve, but to squeeze it out well with your hands. My brine was leaking a little. I used regular cheese, because the idea to make a salad was spontaneous). I ended up with too much beets for one layer, so I divided it into two parts. We liked the salad, I wouldn’t change anything about it). It is simple, but at the same time elegant, satisfying and tasty!
