Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Any meat can be used. Preferably with fat.
STEP 2
Wash the onion greens, dry and finely chop.
STEP 3
Cut the meat into very small pieces.
STEP 4
Grind the zira in a mortar into a fine powder.
STEP 5
Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes.
STEP 6
Roll out the puff pastry into a large layer. 4 millimeters thick.
STEP 7
Place the chopped potatoes evenly on the rolled out sheet of dough. And also distribute the pieces of meat evenly.
STEP 8
Sprinkle onion greens on top of the potatoes and meat. Sprinkle cumin and lightly sprinkle salt all over the leaf.
STEP 9
Wrap the filled dough into a roll, secure the edge well and place on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
STEP 10
Brush the prepared roll with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
STEP 11
When the roll is baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly so that it does not crumble when cutting. Serve with any ketchup or hot condiments.
