Meat with potatoes and pumpkin in a pot
Step-by-step preparation
- STEP 1 - I suggest you get acquainted with the recipe in which I will tell you how to bake pumpkin in a pot with potatoes and meat. We will need the products indicated in the composition. 
- STEP 2 - Let's take the meat. I like beef, but you can use pork or veal. Wash the meat, remove films and veins and cut into cubes. Then take a frying pan and heat the vegetable oil on it. Lay out the meat, turn up the heat and, stirring constantly, fry the meat on all sides until cooked. Then put it in a bowl and leave it for a while. 
- STEP 3 - Let's do the vegetables. Peel the potatoes, then wash them and cut them into medium-sized pieces. 
- STEP 4 - Peel the carrots and cut them into the same pieces as the potatoes. 
- STEP 5 - Peel the onion and chop it not very finely. Fry the prepared vegetables in the same frying pan and in the same oil that we fried the meat. Then for now we transfer them to a separate container. 
- STEP 6 - After this, clean and cut the pumpkin into cubes. Then fry it in oil until half cooked. 
- STEP 7 - We arrange the pots. Place the meat on the bottom, salt it and pepper to taste. Put in a bay leaf. 
- STEP 8 - Place a second layer of pumpkin on the meat and sprinkle it with finely chopped herbs. 
- STEP 9 - Place the remaining vegetables in a third layer on the pumpkin and add salt to everything on top. 
- STEP 10 - Pour warm water into the pots - it should completely cover the vegetables. Add a couple of cloves of garlic on top. Cover the pots with lids and place them in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40 minutes. 
- STEP 11 - Before turning off the oven, we test the dish for readiness; if everything is in order, then remove the pots from the oven and let them brew for a while under closed lids. Serve the dish warm. Bon appetit to you and your family!
