Marinated tomatoes with cucumbers without vinegar and sterilization
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

To prepare delicious pickled tomatoes and assorted cucumbers, we prepare the necessary products and spices.
STEP 2

Place in a sterile jar the required amount of peeled tomatoes, from which the stems have previously been removed.
STEP 3

Bring the required amount of water in a saucepan to a boil.
STEP 4

Pour boiling water into the jar with tomatoes to the very top.
STEP 5

Cover the jar of tomatoes with a sterile lid.
STEP 6

Place washed cucumbers and tomatoes without stems in a sterile jar.
STEP 7

Fill the jar with vegetables with boiling water to the very top.
STEP 8

Cover the jar of tomatoes and cucumbers with a sterile lid.
STEP 9

Pour the slightly cooled water from the jars into the pan.
STEP 10

Place a pot of water on high heat on the stove and bring to a boil.
STEP 11

Fill the jars with vegetables with boiling water again.
STEP 12

Cover the jars with lids and set aside for fifteen to twenty minutes to cool.
STEP 13

After time has passed, drain the water from the jars of vegetables.
STEP 14

Bring a saucepan with two liters of water for the marinade to a boil on the stove and pour three tablespoons of salt into it, then six tablespoons of sugar and stir.
STEP 15

Add two-thirds of a teaspoon of citric acid to the pan and stir again.
STEP 16

Place six allspice peas, three cloves and one-third of a cinnamon stick into each jar.
STEP 17

Place in each jar three bay leaves, six black peppercorns and chili pepper to taste.
STEP 18

Pour hot marinade to the very top of the jars with vegetables.
STEP 19

Close the jars of vegetables tightly with prepared sterile lids.
STEP 20

We turn the jars over and put them on the lids, check for leaks, then cover them with a warm blanket or blanket until they cool completely.
