Melt the chocolate and separate the eggs into whites and yolks.
STEP 3
Beat soft butter with sugar, add yolks, lemon zest and vanilla extract.
STEP 4
Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or grind it using a blender, add it to the butter in several additions and beat thoroughly.
STEP 5
Add starch and semolina, mix until smooth.
STEP 6
Beat the whites into a strong foam and add to the curd mass.
STEP 7
Separate a third of the total mass and add melted chocolate, liqueur and cocoa powder. Stir until smooth.
STEP 8
Place white and chocolate dough into a mold (24 cm in diameter).
STEP 9
Using a skewer, stir the dough. Place a deep baking tray with water at the bottom of the oven, preheat the oven to 180 C and bake the pie for 50-60 minutes (or longer, depending on the consistency of the pie). The center of the finished pie should jiggle slightly.
STEP 10
Let the finished pie cool completely, it should firm up well and be ready to serve. Bon appetit!
