Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Wash the mackerel, cut off the head, fins, and remove the entrails. Dry from water and pour lemon juice over the carcass. Chop the vegetables. Potatoes - in cubes, onions - in half rings, carrots - in circles. Grease the foil with vegetable oil. Place some of the vegetables on foil (in the form of a pillow).
STEP 2

Place mackerel on a vegetable bed, sprinkled with lemon juice. Place the rest of the vegetables inside the fish. If you are using frozen vegetables, defrost them first and drain them.
STEP 3

Wrap everything in foil and bake at 190-200 degrees for 40 minutes.
STEP 4

At the end of baking, open the foil and brown the fish until golden brown.
