STEP 1

How to make pita bread with cheese and egg? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You will need thin Armenian lavash (two sheets). How to choose the right lavash? First of all, look at the manufacturing date on the packaging. Do not take expired baked goods. Fresh pita bread should have a pleasant smell. Look carefully to make sure there are no stains or signs of mold.
STEP 2

Hard cheese can be any kind. The main thing is that it is tasty, fresh and aromatic. Grate it on a coarse grater. You can replace hard cheese with processed cheese like “Druzhba”. To make it more convenient to rub, keep it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 3

Wash the eggs well. Boil hard (about 8-10 minutes after boiling). Drain the hot water and add cold water. When the eggs have cooled, remove them and peel them. Also grate coarsely.
STEP 4

Wash fresh dill. Dry with paper towels. Grind. In addition to dill, you can take parsley, cilantro, and arugula.
STEP 5

Place mayonnaise in a separate container. If for some reason you do not want to use mayonnaise, replace it with sour cream. Mix with chopped herbs.
STEP 6

Lay out the first sheet of thin pita bread. Evenly coat its surface with a thin layer of dill mayonnaise. Leave 2-3 cm from the edges and do not put the filling on them.
STEP 7

Sprinkle the grated eggs evenly over the surface.
STEP 8

Cover the first pita bread with a second sheet. Also grease it with mayonnaise and sprinkle with hard cheese.
STEP 9

How to roll pita bread correctly? Roll it carefully and as tightly as possible so that the filling does not fall out at the edges and the pita bread itself does not tear. If the roll is not rolled tightly, it will be difficult to cut it into beautiful pieces.
STEP 10

Wrap the roll in cling film. Place in the refrigerator for one hour. During this time it will be well soaked and become soft. Cut the finished roll into portioned slices and serve.
