  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad with meat and cucumbers? First of all, prepare the products indicated on the list. Bell peppers can be used in different colors, then the finished dish will come out incredibly bright and appetizing. Rinse the cucumber, bell pepper and peeled garlic in clean water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the cucumbers into thin strips about 5 centimeters long. Place the cubes in a plate or small bowl, add salt and leave for 10-15 minutes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the beef into thin long pieces. To make meat easier to cut, place it in the freezer and freeze slightly.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Cut the onion into thin half rings, and chop the garlic finely by hand. If desired, press the garlic through a press. For the recipe I used half an onion and half a red salad onion.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the beef over high heat until cooked through. This will not take much time at all, from 3 to 5 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

To ensure that the meat was fried rather than stewed, I fried it in parts. Those. First, I cooked half the portion, put the cooked beef on a plate, and then fried the remaining meat in a frying pan. Remember to continuously stir the pieces while frying to prevent them from burning.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Add onion to the beef in the pan and pour in soy sauce. Stirring, fry for about two minutes.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Gently squeeze out the juice that appears from the cucumbers. Place the cubes into a deep bowl. Add coriander, sugar, hot pepper (adjust the amount to taste) and garlic.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Add beef and onions to cucumbers.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Next add bell pepper and vinegar.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Mix everything well and taste it. If necessary, add the missing amount of salt, sugar or vinegar. The finished dish should be spicy, sweet and sour.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Let it brew for 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh herbs. Korean cucumbers with meat are ready, serve!

I started looking on the website for a recipe that included fresh cucumber and bell pepper and found an interesting salad - cucumbers with meat, Korean style. I was “hooked” by this dish; sometimes you want something like this: bright and not banal. Immediately I took a piece of beef out of the freezer, held it in cold water for a while to melt the ice and dry it. Frozen meat is actually easier to cut into thin strips. I fried it in parts according to the author’s recommendation, I did it in three batches, then I combined everything and then fried it with onions. I added curry instead of the suggested spices, especially since they are part of my seasoning. The meat was well soaked in soy sauce. I decided not to fry the red onion, but to leave it raw. So I marinated it in sugar and some vinegar. After combining all the ingredients, I added vinegar and black pepper to taste. The salad was infused for half an hour at room temperature. This dish was worth spending a little time at the stove! Gorgeous salad! Roasted meat goes so well with juicy vegetables and sweet-spicy onions. Bell peppers also add their own sweetness. And the dressing saturates it all with rich taste and appetizing aroma. Thank you very much for the recipe! I recommend to all!

I saw a similar recipe with a video on the website. Also beef, cucumbers, bell peppers and soy sauce. I'll have to try it.

A very original dish, can be served as a salad or as a meat appetizer. I’m also a fan of such spicy dishes, it’s hard to beat) It’s quite easy to prepare and not at all difficult, the ingredients in the recipe are always at hand. Probably, you can eat it both hot and cold, depending on your tastes. The Koreans call this salad “Ve-cha” and after cooking it is better to put it in the refrigerator for 7 hours; if you leave it and not eat it, it will be even tastier.

I love the combination of meat, coriander, cucumber. I often make this salad. I really like it. In the photo, the onion is fried, I make it crunchy a little (but this is not for everyone).

I served cucumbers with meat in Korean style as a festive appetizer for Christmas. Everyone liked it! According to the author’s advice, I didn’t add all the pepper at once, I added half a teaspoon. And then, at the table, whoever needed it, helped themselves in portions. And everyone was happy. Even if it’s not particularly spicy, this salad turns out tasty and very rich. Cucumber goes well with beef and has a nice crunch. The salad has a very rich taste! True, I didn’t sprinkle sesame seeds; I remembered too late that I needed that too.
