STEP 1

How to make a classic meat salad? Boil the vegetables in advance until tender and cool. Peel the boiled potatoes and cut into small cubes. Place the chopped potatoes in a deep bowl or salad bowl.
STEP 2

Peel the boiled and cooled carrots, cut off the ends and cut into small squares. Add to the salad bowl with the chopped potatoes.
STEP 3

Remove the pickles from the jar and cut off the ends. Finely chop into cubes and add to the previously chopped vegetables. You can use salted or pickled cucumbers.
STEP 4

Peel the boiled and cooled eggs and cut them into small squares. Add the eggs to the previously chopped ingredients.
STEP 5

Boiled chilled meat - it can be beef, pork, turkey (or chicken if desired) - finely chop and add to the salad.
STEP 6

Carefully open the can of canned peas, drain the liquid and add the required amount of peas to the salad.
STEP 7

If desired, add onions or lettuce to the salad. It should be peeled and chopped very finely. If the onion is very hot, you can first scald it with boiling water. Add chopped onions to your salad.
STEP 8

In a separate bowl, mix equal parts sour cream and mayonnaise and stir. If desired, you can add ground pepper. Add salt to taste to the salad, season with a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise and mix.
STEP 9

Serve the finished salad chilled as a meal on its own or as a cold appetizer for the main course.
