Preparing the ingredients.

Whisk the egg.
STEP 3
Pour the milk into the bowl with the egg (it is better to use warm milk so that lumps of flour do not form).
STEP 4
Pour in the sifted flour, mix so that there are no lumps. Add soda slaked with vinegar. Stir, the mass should become more voluminous.
STEP 5
Grind the cottage cheese with salt. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
STEP 6
Pour cottage cheese and cheese into the dough, mix thoroughly.
STEP 7
The resulting dough has a consistency similar to thick sour cream.
STEP 8
In a frying pan (it’s better to use cast iron or one with a thick bottom), melt a piece of butter (we’ll leave a small piece for greasing the finished cake).
STEP 9
When the butter melts, place the dough in the pan. Fry the flatbread under the lid over low heat for about 10 minutes. When the bottom of the flatbread is fried and bubbles appear on top, carefully turn the flatbread over and fry until done.
STEP 10
Remove the flatbread from the pan, brush with oil and decorate with parsley sprigs.
STEP 11
The flatbread can be served with soup or eaten as an independent dish. Khachapuri is delicious with a cup of freshly brewed coffee for breakfast. Bon appetit!
