  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cottage cheese casserole in a frying pan on the stove? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Use cottage cheese that is not too wet. For a more uniform consistency, you can rub it through a sieve.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a bowl, combine the eggs with sugar and beat them a little with a mixer.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add cottage cheese and sour cream to the eggs. Stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Then stir in the semolina, baking soda and washed raisins. You can add a pinch of vanillin. The curd dough should not be liquid. If the cottage cheese is wet and the dough comes out runny, add a little more semolina.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

For cooking, use a frying pan with a thick bottom. To be safe, line the pan with baking paper. Grease with butter and sprinkle with semolina. Thanks to this, the finished casserole will not stick to the paper.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the prepared curd mass in a frying pan. I have a frying pan with a 20 cm top.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cover the pan with a lid and place on the stove over low heat. It will take 20-30 minutes to prepare the casserole. There is no need to open the lid when baking. Follow the process through it. Therefore, it is better that it be glass.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

The finished casserole will brown around the edges and a fragrant, characteristic smell will appear. Remove it from the pan and serve hot! In addition, you can serve sour cream, jam or condensed milk. Bon appetit!

I was very interested in how to cook cottage cheese casserole in a frying pan on the stove. This is unusual, I have never heard of this method. To begin with, I decided to increase the number of servings, focusing on 500 g of cottage cheese. My frying pan is 26 cm in diameter, so the portion is larger. I beat the curd mass with a submersible blender, and after adding the semolina, I let it brew for 20 minutes. Added a spoonful of lemon juice for flavor. I didn’t add raisins, my children don’t eat them. Lined the frying pan with siliconized parchment and greased the bottom with butter. I didn’t sprinkle it with semolina, nothing stuck to the parchment. My casserole was baked on low heat for about 45 minutes. During this time it was completely baked. The bottom burned a little, but I accidentally added gas at the end. The casserole turned out the same as in the oven. Tasty, aromatic, tender, similar to a very cottage cheese pie. I also decorated the top with melted chocolate. The recipe works, I recommend housewives to try this method at least for the sake of experiment)

I mercilessly changed the recipe: instead of sour cream - milk, but a little less in volume (intolerance), excluded raisins, did not sprinkle the pan with semolina and did not line it with paper. Heat the frying pan well, grease it with vegetable oil and pour out the resulting mixture. If you take your time and let it bake over low heat, as written, you get an incredibly cool crust. The taste is amazing, the sugar is in moderation, the texture is very delicate. Even without vanillin, the smell is such that it awakens your appetite. I was worried that the taste of semolina would be too strong, but it turned out that there was exactly enough of it as needed. I'll add it to my favorites list
