Kefir pie with cabbage and egg

STEP 1

Filling. To prepare the filling for a kefir pie with cabbage and egg, we will need: white cabbage (preferably young), boiled eggs, a small bunch of dill
STEP 2

Hard boil the eggs, cool and peel. Cut into small cubes.
STEP 3

Finely chop the cabbage.
STEP 4

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and simmer the cabbage in it until soft, about 10 minutes. Cool.
STEP 5

Chop the dill.
STEP 6

Combine cabbage, boiled eggs and dill. Salt and pepper.
STEP 7

Mix everything.
STEP 8

Dough. To prepare dough for kefir pie with cabbage and egg, we will need: flour, kefir, eggs, baking powder, sugar and salt.

In a deep bowl, combine room temperature kefir, eggs, salt and sugar. Mix.
STEP 10

Sift the flour with baking powder and add to the kefir mixture.
STEP 11

Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps in the dough. The finished dough should look like pancakes. If the dough is too steep, you can dilute it with kefir.
STEP 12

Grease a baking dish (Ø 25-26 cm) with vegetable oil. Pour most of the dough into the mold (2/3 of it).
STEP 13

Place the cabbage filling on top and smooth it out.
STEP 14

Pour the remaining dough over the filling.
STEP 15

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 190°C for about 40 minutes. The top of the pie should be browned.
STEP 16

Remove the finished pie from the oven and let stand in the pan for about 15 minutes. Then cut into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!
