Jellied ryazhenka pie in the oven with apples

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make jellied pie with fermented baked milk? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. You can use any fermented baked milk, I have 4% fat content. Also choose apples according to your taste, I took sweet and sour. You can adjust their sweetness with sugar by adding or subtracting its amount in the composition. Instead of sugar, you can use honey or a sweetener. Remove the fermented baked milk from the refrigerator in advance; it should be at room temperature.
STEP 2

Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy in a separate deep bowl. It's better to do this with a mixer.
STEP 3

Pour fermented baked milk into the beaten eggs. Beat the resulting mass again until it becomes homogeneous. This time you can use a regular whisk.
STEP 4

Sift the flour with baking powder and add it to the dough in parts. Please note that you may need more or less flour than I did. Focus on the consistency of the dough.
STEP 5

Beat the dough until smooth. It should be fluid, but not too liquid.
STEP 6

Wash the apples and dry them. Remove seeds and cut into slices. I don’t peel the apples - this way the slices retain their shape. But, if you want, you can cut off the peel. You can also cut the apples into cubes rather than slices.
STEP 7

Grease a baking dish with butter. Place some apples on the bottom of the pan and sprinkle them with ground cinnamon.
STEP 8

Pour half the batter over the apples to completely cover the fruit and smooth out.
STEP 9

Place the remaining apple slices on the dough and sprinkle them with cinnamon.
STEP 10

Pour the remaining dough on top and smooth it out. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 40 minutes. Do not open the oven for the first 25 minutes to prevent the dough from settling. Leave the cake in the cooling oven for another 10 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.
STEP 11

Remove the finished pie from the oven, cool slightly and turn it over onto a plate so that the apples are on top. Serve the pie warm or completely cooled. Bon appetit!
