I made processed cheese from cottage cheese at home. I used farm cottage cheese, its fat content is most likely less than 9%, but I’m sure it’s natural. I prepared the cheese according to the author's recommendations. It turned out great! When hot, the cheese mass was liquid, after cooling and several hours in the refrigerator it thickened, but remained viscous and homogeneous. Delicious for morning sandwiches!
