    How to make potatoes on the grill on skewers? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is best to use medium-sized potatoes of the same size. Soy sauce can be replaced with salt to taste. Adjust the amount of chili pepper to your own taste or eliminate it altogether. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and dry with a towel or napkins.

    In a separate container, combine soy sauce, oil, pepper, oregano and any dry seasonings to your taste.

    Mix everything thoroughly.

    Using a kitchen knife, make several shallow cuts on each potato, about 1-2 mm deep, so that the marinade is better absorbed into the potatoes. Pour the marinade over the potatoes, mix well and leave for a while. The potatoes do not need much time to marinate well; 10-15 minutes are enough while the coals burn out in the grill.

    Thread 2-3 potatoes onto each skewer. Don’t throw out the marinade that’s left, it will come in handy later.

    Place skewers on the coals. Cook, turning occasionally, until potatoes are cooked through. You can check readiness with a toothpick - it should easily pierce the potatoes. This takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the variety and size of potatoes.

    Carefully remove the finished potatoes from the skewers. Using a silicone brush, brush each potato with the remaining marinade. Sprinkle your favorite herbs on top.

We traditionally prepare potatoes on skewers for barbecue. I liked the recipe for potatoes with marinade. Previously, we simply fried potatoes topped with pieces of lard, but in December they no longer taste the same as in the fall, so we decided to make a marinade. I really liked this recipe for its simplicity and a selection of favorite products. My husband tried cutting a couple of potatoes into a spiral as an experiment. I didn’t deviate from the recipe, I made the cuts like the author did. The potatoes turned out very tasty. Only the top is not as light as in the author’s photo, but my husband said that the oil that is present in the sauce will burn on the grill. It didn’t burn too much, just a little, and the taste didn’t suffer from it. Before serving, I brushed it with marinade again, as the author advises. It turned out amazing, the crust is not hard, the inside is absolutely delightful! Soft, aromatic, incomparable, my favorite potato! I thank the author for such a find, cook with pleasure.
