Grilled potatoes on skewers

STEP 1

How to make potatoes on the grill on skewers? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is best to use medium-sized potatoes of the same size. Soy sauce can be replaced with salt to taste. Adjust the amount of chili pepper to your own taste or eliminate it altogether. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and dry with a towel or napkins.
STEP 2

In a separate container, combine soy sauce, oil, pepper, oregano and any dry seasonings to your taste.

Mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 4

Using a kitchen knife, make several shallow cuts on each potato, about 1-2 mm deep, so that the marinade is better absorbed into the potatoes. Pour the marinade over the potatoes, mix well and leave for a while. The potatoes do not need much time to marinate well; 10-15 minutes are enough while the coals burn out in the grill.
STEP 5

While the potatoes are marinating, light the grill.
STEP 6

Thread 2-3 potatoes onto each skewer. Don’t throw out the marinade that’s left, it will come in handy later.
STEP 7

Place skewers on the coals. Cook, turning occasionally, until potatoes are cooked through. You can check readiness with a toothpick - it should easily pierce the potatoes. This takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the variety and size of potatoes.
STEP 8

Carefully remove the finished potatoes from the skewers. Using a silicone brush, brush each potato with the remaining marinade. Sprinkle your favorite herbs on top.
STEP 9

Serve potatoes with salad, grilled sausages or shish kebab. Bon appetit!
