STEP 1
To make apple pie with frozen cranberries, you need to prepare the following ingredients. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave in the “defrost” mode, cool. Remove the eggs from the refrigerator first. Medium sized apple. Remove the cranberries from the freezer first.
STEP 2
Wash the cranberries, remove any debris (if any) and leaves, and leave at room temperature to defrost. It is better to drain the released liquid.
STEP 3
Sift the flour, enriching it with oxygen, to obtain an airy dough, mix in a separate bowl with baking powder and vanillin, you can use vanilla sugar.
STEP 4
Break the eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar and beat everything together with a mixer or hand whisk (until foamy, about five minutes).
STEP 5
Add melted and cooled butter and milk, whisking continuously. Add dry ingredients and mix everything thoroughly. You will get an elastic dough without lumps.
STEP 6
Cover the form with baking paper. I use a springform pan with a diameter of nineteen centimeters. Pour the batter into the pan, using a spatula to smooth it out so that it fills the pan evenly.
STEP 7
Wash and peel the apples. Cut out the core, cut into slices and place in a circle, lightly pressing into the dough.
STEP 8
Place the thawed berries evenly on the pie. Sprinkle with sugar. You can use brown sugar if desired.
STEP 9
Bake apple pie with frozen cranberries in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. oven for 40 - 45 minutes. Check the readiness of the pie with a wooden skewer - if it comes out dry from the middle of the pie, then the pie is ready. When serving, sprinkle the finished pie (optional) with powdered sugar.
