Fried lavash rolls with curd and cheese

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To begin with, the pita bread must be cut into rectangular portions. It will be possible to prepare something else from the scraps, but we need even layers of lavash.
STEP 2
Place cottage cheese of your favorite fat content and consistency (preferably finely granulated) into a bowl.
STEP 3
Add finely chopped greens (I used dill and green onions, you can also add parsley).
STEP 4
Grate your favorite cheese (you can use a coarse grater, but since there is not a lot of cheese, I grate it on a fine one).
STEP 5
Add cheese, eggs, paprika, turmeric and salt to taste to the cottage cheese. You can also add black pepper for spiciness.
STEP 6
Stir until smooth. During the mixing process, if your cottage cheese is granular, like mine, it is advisable to crush it slightly so that there are not too many large granules, then it will be easier to spread on the pita bread.
STEP 7
Place the filling on a layer of lavash and spread it in a thin layer.
STEP 8
Twist the roll, pressing down lightly so that the end does not unwind.
STEP 9
These are the rolls you get in the end; they are quite stable and should not unwind.
STEP 10
Add vegetable oil to a frying pan, heat and fry over medium heat on both sides until cooked. You can simply fry the rolls as is, and they will turn out like this.
STEP 11
Or you can first dip them in an egg, and you’ll get something like this. It’s up to you to decide how tastier it is, try and choose :) Bon appetit!
