For the sauce, mix sour cream and mayonnaise (you can use one or the other, depending on your preference). I try not to overuse mayonnaise, but I can’t completely give it up - in my opinion, it still tastes better. Brush half of the sauce over the carrots

Cut the potatoes into slices. In this recipe it is not necessary, but it solves the problem with the side dish and there is no need to dirty additional dishes)

Place the potatoes in the next layer

Let's add some salt to it

Bake at 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes until the potatoes are ready, but if we bake without them, then only 30 minutes will be enough
