The fish will turn out tender and juicy, a good dish for a light meal! My whole family and I have a selfless love for fish in particular and seafood in general. Fortunately, our place of residence allows us to buy both sea and river fish at an affordable price. I especially love cooking sea fish. I know many culinary recipes on this topic, but now I would like to share with you the tricks of preparing the Latvian dish, fish in dough.

How to make fish in batter? So, take a fillet of some of your favorite fish

and cut it into small pieces.
STEP 3

Make a marinade, for this: add lemon juice, parsley, pepper and salt to vegetable oil.
STEP 4

Now sprinkle the resulting marinade over the fillet pieces and leave the fish to soak in the marinade for 1-2 hours.
STEP 5

At this time, prepare a batter from water, flour, vegetable oil and salt, add pre-whipped whites into it.
STEP 6

After the fish has been soaked, we take pieces of fish, dip them in the dough and fry them in a well-heated frying pan in a large amount of vegetable oil. It is better to serve fish with mashed potatoes.

I cooked fish in batter and batter. I had tilapia. I cut it into portions and kept it in the marinade for about two hours. Immediately before frying the fish, I made a batter (so that the whipped whites in the batter did not have time to settle). Pieces of fish were dipped in batter and fried in vegetable oil until golden brown. It turned out very tasty! The batter is tender, light (due to the whipped egg whites), the fish is juicy, with a slight lemon note. Many thanks to the author for the recipe!
