STEP 1

How to make chicken puff pastry from puff pastry? Prepare all the ingredients listed. Remove the puff pastry from the freezer in advance and defrost according to the instructions.
STEP 2

Wash the chicken fillet and dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into cubes as finely as possible with a knife. Transfer to a suitable container. Salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 3

Grate the hard cheese on a medium-sized grater. The cheese can be anything, as long as it is tasty, of high quality and melts well in the oven. Instead of hard cheese, you can take suluguni or mozzarella.
STEP 4

Send the cheese to the meat, add a couple of spoons of mayonnaise or sour cream, natural yogurt without additives. Mix the minced meat thoroughly with a spoon.
STEP 5

Cut the defrosted dough into rectangular pieces.
STEP 6

Sprinkle your work surface with a little flour and roll out each strip to about 3 mm thick.
STEP 7

Using a regular knife or a pizza knife, make a cut in the middle and two in the corners on each strip of dough. Do not cut the center, it should remain intact.
STEP 8

Place about a tablespoon of minced meat in the center.
STEP 9

Wrap the top triangle of dough around the filling first. Seal the edges well.
STEP 10

Now wrap the side petal that is on the right and secure the edges.
STEP 11

Fold in the last petal and seal the edges.
STEP 12

Place the blanks of open rose pies on a baking sheet, which you have previously covered with a baking mat or parchment.
STEP 13

Whisk one egg in a bowl. Using a pastry brush, brush the pies on all sides, including the filling. Thanks to the egg, the baked goods will acquire a glossy and golden crust.
STEP 14

10 minutes before baking, turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Bake the chicken puff pastry for about 35 minutes until golden brown. But since everyone's oven is different, baking time may vary. Serve chicken puff pastries with pickles, salads, fresh herbs or sauces.
