    Wash the egg in warm water to remove dirt and bacteria, break it into a bowl. Mix with a whisk or regular fork until smooth. You don't need to beat it, just mix it well.

    Pour water into a bowl. Take filtered water and be sure to be very cold. It's even better if you keep it in the freezer before adding it, this will make the batter crispier. And mix everything well.

Gently drop the battered florets into the oil and fry for a few minutes until golden brown on both sides.

I really liked the cauliflower in crispy batter! I adjusted the thickness of the batter as I cooked the cabbage, adding a little water or flour until I reached the consistency I liked.
