  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry cauliflower in crispy batter in a frying pan? Prepare all ingredients. Instead of fresh garlic, I used garlic powder. Milk can be replaced with cream. How to choose a frying pan and oil for frying, read the articles below the steps.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Separate the cauliflower into small, medium-sized florets. The larger the pieces, the longer they will need to be boiled in boiling water.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a separate container, mix milk, egg, red and black pepper. Also add mustard, chopped garlic or garlic powder and a pinch of salt. Mix everything thoroughly using a fork or whisk. At this stage, you can add your favorite spices to taste.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Gradually add flour to the egg-milk mixture, stirring each time so that no lumps form. The batter should not be very liquid.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Boil about 1-1.5 liters of lightly salted water in a saucepan. Place the cauliflower florets into boiling water. After boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for about five minutes. You can check the readiness of the inflorescences using a toothpick or fork. The cabbage should pierce easily. The main thing is not to overcook, otherwise it may turn out to be porridge.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the finished cabbage in a colander and cool slightly.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Dip each inflorescence on all sides in batter.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Then roll in flour on all sides.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. It is better to take a small frying pan, but with high edges, this will require less oil and will make it more convenient to cook the cabbage. How to choose a frying pan and oil for frying, read the articles below the steps. Fry the cauliflower in hot oil over high heat for a few seconds on each side. Place the cooked cabbage with a crispy crust on paper towels to remove excess oil. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the interesting recipe. I’ll definitely try it. I really love cauliflower and I want to offer my recipe, CAULIFLOWER IN BREAD CROOMS. This is a gorgeous vegetable dish with a memorable taste. The cabbage inflorescences are tender on the inside and have a crispy, appetizing crust on the outside.

It turned out to be a beautiful dish, I don’t even know how to make it better. As a side dish) or prepare a side dish for cabbage. For some reason, the appearance is more like chicken, but the taste is reminiscent of fish))). Although this is an ordinary country-lucky cauliflower.

I love cauliflower. The recipe is good, I signed up to save it. The only thing is that I used more than 2 tablespoons of flour in the batter; I didn’t count it, I just let it thicken.

I also cook cauliflower this way, this year I planted 15 roots at the dacha, I hope it will grow. I also like to sprinkle each inflorescence with breadcrumbs after dipping it in the egg and fry it in vegetable oil, it’s very tasty, reminiscent of the taste of fried mushrooms.

A very interesting recipe, I will definitely add it to my e-cookbook! This is the best cookbook online, I always find an interesting recipe here, for example, like this one - simple, but so original! I usually just fried cabbage in an egg, but I think it will be much tastier in this batter. Thank you!

After the comment, I’ll be sure to add it to the cookbook, and tomorrow I’ll create something for dinner. I usually boil it whole, spend a lot of time, and then fry it, but your version is much tastier—it’s already making my mouth water. Thanks for the recipe.
