  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make bulgur with vegetables in a slow cooker? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. What vegetables are best to use? You can cook from fresh ones that you have in the refrigerator or in the garden, or use frozen vegetables. This time I took a mix of fresh and frozen products.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the onions, carrots and garlic. Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the core and seeds. Rinse all vegetables in cold water and dry with a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture. Cut the onions, carrots and peppers into cubes of the same size.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pour refined vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl. Set the "Fry" mode. When the oil is hot, add the onions, carrots and peppers to the bowl. Stirring, cook for about 10 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

At this time, rinse the bulgur several times to clean water.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place tomatoes cut into small pieces or small whole cherry tomatoes into the multicooker bowl. First, peel the tomatoes if desired. Pour the mixture of frozen vegetables into the bowl as well. Stirring, fry for about five more minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add bulgur to all ingredients. Add finely chopped garlic as well.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Pour water into the bowl. How much water should I add? For one serving of cereal, two servings of liquid are usually used. That is, if you took a glass of bulgur, then add two glasses of water. Salt and pepper everything to taste, stir.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Close the multicooker with a lid, set the “Rice/Grains” or “Pilaf” mode and leave until ready. The time will be set automatically, depending on the model of your multicooker.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Bulgur with vegetables is ready! Delicious both hot and cold. When serving, add chopped herbs to everyone's plate.

In the evening I needed to quickly prepare dinner. The recipe for bulgur with vegetables in a slow cooker came to the rescue. The dish is easy to prepare and takes minimal time. Fry onions and carrots for 15 minutes (along with heating). For frozen vegetables, I have bell peppers, broccoli and corn. Wash the bulgur well until the water runs clear. The ratio of cereal to water is perfect! I cooked on the “pilaf” program, there is no timer. But after the signal, 10 minutes before readiness, I mixed the vegetables with bulgur. The golden bulgur grains were saturated with the “vegetable broth”, but did not stick together and became crumbly. Vegetables are delicious too! Garlic and spices add great flavor to this hearty dish!
