    Cut the baguette into slices 1-1.5 cm thick. If desired, you can lightly grease the bread with vegetable oil. Place the bread on a baking sheet and dry in an oven preheated to 200ºC for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. The exact time depends on your oven. I baked on the "top-bottom with convection" mode. Instead of baking in the oven, you can dry the bread in a dry frying pan on both sides. Cool the bread. Otherwise the cheese will float on the hot bread.

    Add salt and pepper to the ricotta and mix. You can replace the ricotta with any other soft cheese, cottage cheese or processed cheese. In addition to the indicated spices, you can use spices to your taste. A mixture of Italian herbs is suitable here.

They treated me to a jar of sun-dried tomatoes. I went to the site looking for a delicious recipe and I found it: bruschetta with sun-dried tomatoes. Moreover, there was pesto sauce (I was preparing it for another dish). I pre-fried the loaf slices in a dry frying pan on both sides until lightly crispy. I greased the slices with curd cheese, put pesto sauce and tomatoes on top (dried a little from the oil). Mm... it's very tasty! The crunch of the bun, the tenderness of the cheese, the aroma of the sauce and the taste of the tomatoes - an amazing flavor combination! Definitely, the recipe is now in my piggy bank.
