STEP 1

How to make bruschetta with sun-dried tomatoes? Very simple and fast. To begin, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. Instead of a baguette, you can use a regular loaf or rye bread.
STEP 2

Cut the baguette into slices 1-1.5 cm thick. If desired, you can lightly grease the bread with vegetable oil. Place the bread on a baking sheet and dry in an oven preheated to 200ºC for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. The exact time depends on your oven. I baked on the "top-bottom with convection" mode. Instead of baking in the oven, you can dry the bread in a dry frying pan on both sides. Cool the bread. Otherwise the cheese will float on the hot bread.
STEP 3

Add salt and pepper to the ricotta and mix. You can replace the ricotta with any other soft cheese, cottage cheese or processed cheese. In addition to the indicated spices, you can use spices to your taste. A mixture of Italian herbs is suitable here.
STEP 4

Shake off excess oil from sun-dried tomatoes. Store-bought or home-made sun-dried tomatoes are suitable.
STEP 5

Brush baguette slices with ricotta.
STEP 6

Spread pesto sauce over top with a teaspoon.

Next, arrange the sun-dried tomatoes. Garnish the bruschetta with fresh basil and serve. You can serve the appetizer with champagne or white wine. Bon appetit!
