Bean soup in a slow cooker with meat broth

The delicious aroma of smoked ribs and beans whets your appetite. A very tasty and nutritious soup is made with beans. It is not difficult to prepare, and it looks much more appetizing than, for example, pea. But there is one caveat: the beans must be pre-processed until half cooked. However, any housewife can handle this. The beans need to be soaked for 4-5 hours, and then cooked for 30 minutes - 1 hour (I test for softness), and then drain the water and put the half-cooked beans in the soup and bring to readiness, along with the rest of the vegetables. You can use canned beans in this recipe.

For lunch I decided to cook bean soup in a slow cooker with meat broth. I've made soup this way once before and I really liked it. Firstly, everything is fried and boiled in one pot. Secondly, the taste of the first course is much better. I cooked the soup with pork bones (vertebrae). To begin with, I soaked them in cold water so that the blood came out. I set the “frying” program for 20 minutes, during which I fried onions, carrots and bones with meat until an appetizing golden color. It smells very tasty! Then I put the potatoes, cut into small pieces, into the bowl. I poured in two liters of filtered water and set the “soup” program for 40 minutes. I reduced the time due to the fact that I had canned beans. I added it 10 minutes before the end of cooking. For spices I used dried dill and curry. The soup turned out, well, very rich! Delicious, smells like roasted meat. This nutritious lunch made my whole family happy.

Delicious and beautiful soup! But I don’t bother - I cook the beans along with the meat, pre-soak them overnight. I just cooked it today!
