STEP 1

How to bake boiled pork in the oven in foil? Prepare your ingredients. For boiled pork, it is better to choose a large piece. A ham or neck weighing at least 1 kg is ideal: their size and fat percentage guarantee an exquisite taste. Shoulder or thick sirloin are also used in many boiled pork recipes, but they require more attention. The meat must be fresh. Even defrosted correctly, it will be significantly less juicy.

Place all spices and salt into a small bowl.

Mix everything.

Wash the pork, pat dry with paper towels and place on a plate.
STEP 5

Using a knife, make deep punctures in the meat and insert garlic cloves into them. Rub the meat thoroughly on all sides with a mixture of salt and spices.
STEP 6

Cover the meat with mustard on top. It is better to do this with a silicone brush.
STEP 7

Transfer the ham to a deep bowl. Cover the meat with cling film, making sure that the film comes into little contact with the marinade. Place the meat in the refrigerator to marinate for 5-8 hours.
STEP 8

Remove the meat from the refrigerator, carefully wrap it in foil to prevent any juices from escaping, and place on a baking sheet. Leave the meat at room temperature for about 1 hour.
STEP 9

Place the meat in a cold oven. Turn on the oven to 180°C. Bake the meat for about 1.5 hours. Leave the cooked pork in the cooling oven for another 2 hours.
STEP 10

Then remove the meat from the oven. Unfold the foil, drain the liquid, and transfer the boiled pork to a plate.
STEP 11

Cover the meat with cling film and refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
STEP 12

Cut the finished boiled pork into slices and serve. Bon appetit!
