Cut the zucchini into medium-sized pieces. Peel the garlic and rinse under running water.

    Prepare the dressing. To do this, add garlic to the soy sauce, which must first be passed through a press or garlic press; you can also chop it by hand as finely as possible. Add sugar, salt and starch to the sauce (adjust the amount of sugar and salt to your taste; soy sauce is already quite salty, so it is quite possible that you will completely exclude salt from the list of ingredients). Mix everything very well.

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the zucchini over high heat. Do not forget to constantly stir the cubes so that they do not burn.     Stir the finished dressing again, as the starch may settle to the bottom during this time. Pour the soy sauce into the frying pan with the zucchini, while constantly stirring the zucchini so that the sauce does not form a lump and is evenly distributed over all the cubes. Be careful, there may be a lot of oil splatter at this stage, don't get burned! Cook for literally 10-15 seconds. Remove the pan from the heat and cool the zucchini.

What an interesting way to cook zucchini; I often fry them in batter in a frying pan. I was very interested in the dressing for the zucchini. I decided to cook zucchini with soy sauce and garlic in a frying pan, having everything on hand. The cooking process is very simple. I chose young zucchini without large ones, cut it into cubes like the author’s, only a little shorter and fried it in a frying pan. It didn’t turn out particularly brown, at first there was a lot of moisture, after it evaporated I added oil. The zucchini sticks were fried over medium heat, while I made a dressing from starch, soy sauce, salt, sugar, garlic, and dill. I added ground paprika and ground coriander. At the end I added sesame seeds. The zucchini turned out incredibly tasty with this dressing. I made twice as many zucchini as in the recipe, they went off with a bang! They served us as an afternoon snack and as a salad for dinner. A worthy recipe! Very easy and fast, the snack is mega tasty and aromatic))) Thanks to the author for the new product!

I completely agree. It's amazingly delicious! I always cook it a little differently: first I fry pieces of garlic with ginger, and then add zucchini. But your version is also superb, so I’ll definitely try to cook it following your step-by-step instructions.
