Whole silver carp baked in foil in the oven

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake whole silver carp in the oven in foil? Prepare the necessary ingredients. If the fish has been frozen, first defrost it by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator - this way the process will be as delicate as possible. Rinse vegetables and herbs and dry.
STEP 2
Clean the fish from scales, gut it, and rinse well. Clean the belly from the black film, it may taste bitter. Cut off the head (you can cook fish soup from it).
STEP 3
On one side of the carcass, make deep transverse cuts at a distance of about 3 cm from each other.
STEP 4
Rub the silver carp with salt and a mixture of ground peppers on all sides, as well as inside the belly.
STEP 5
Cut half a lemon into slices.
STEP 6
Insert lemon slices into slots.
STEP 7
Cut the peeled vegetables into small pieces - I used carrots, onions and bell peppers, if desired, you can add other vegetables to taste.
STEP 8
Fold the foil into 2 layers (preferably shiny side up) and place the fish on it.
STEP 9
Place sprigs of dill and parsley in the belly.
STEP 10
Also put chopped vegetables in the belly. Feel free to place those that won’t fit around the carcass.
STEP 11
Cover the fish with foil and carefully fold the edges.
STEP 12
Bake the fish in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour; if you have smaller fish, you can reduce the baking time slightly.
STEP 13
About 10 minutes before it’s ready, you can unroll the foil so that the fish browns a little on top. Serve the dish, garnished with herbs. Bon appetit!
