Wet manna with kefir

A very tasty tender and moist cake for tea. The recipe is interesting because milk is added differently from the usual way - into the dough, but it is already poured into the finished pie, thanks to which the manna turns out especially tender and moist. Particularly good with a mug of hot tea or warm milk

I bake manniki often; I really love these pies for their simplicity and taste. But I usually make the dough without eggs and have never soaked it in milk before. And today we arrived from the store with two full bags of groceries, began to sort it out, and realized that there was nothing for tea, but there were all the necessary ingredients for this recipe, as if they had bought it from the list. I just added orange zest. Oh, what a soulful pie this turned out to be! Soft, with a creamy orange flavor. Tenderness itself! Having tried it, I decided that I would forget the recipes that I used to bake manna cakes before, without soaking. And why did the recipe for Wet Manna with Kefir wait so long in the recipe storage rack? Now this is my favorite! Many thanks to the author for the recipe and pleasure!
