Udon noodles with chicken teriyaki sauce and vegetables

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to cook udon with chicken and vegetables? Prepare all the necessary products. You can replace the chicken with pork or beef, and choose vegetables to your taste and add, for example, zucchini, eggplant, and so on.
STEP 2
Peel the onion, garlic, carrots and ginger. Cut the bell pepper in half and remove the seeds and core. Rinse everything under running cold water and dry with napkins.
STEP 3
Wash and dry the chicken breast. Cut the meat into thin strips.
STEP 4
Chop the onion into small cubes, bell pepper into thin strips, and grate the carrots in a vegetable cutter for Korean salads or cut into thin long strips by hand.
STEP 5
Chop the ginger with a sharp knife. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the ginger over medium heat for about a minute. Don't forget to stir constantly so it doesn't burn. Which frying pan is better to take for cooking? A wok or regular frying pan with high edges is ideal.
STEP 6
Send the chicken to fry. Cook, stirring, for about five minutes.
STEP 7
Meanwhile, cook the udon noodles according to package instructions.
STEP 8
Add the onion to the pan and fry with the chicken for another minute or two.
STEP 9
Next comes the turn of carrots. Add it and cook for two minutes.
STEP 10
Add bell pepper to all ingredients and fry for about a minute.
STEP 11
Add finely chopped garlic, soy sauce and teriyaki sauce to the pan. If desired, you can use chili pepper at this stage. Mix everything, cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for a minute or two.
STEP 12
Place the finished noodles in a colander. Place it in the frying pan.
STEP 13
Mix everything thoroughly but gently. Cover with a lid and simmer everything together for another minute. Try the finished dish, if you are missing any component, add it (salt, pepper, etc.).
STEP 14
Sprinkle chicken noodles with fresh herbs and sesame seeds if desired. Serve it up!
