STEP 1

How to bake turkey cutlets in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. You can use either ready-made or homemade minced meat. If it was frozen, then defrost it first by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Choose young, small-sized zucchini - it is juicier and tastier. Instead of zucchini, you can use raw potatoes.
STEP 2

Wash the zucchini, peel the skin; if the seeds are large, remove them. Grate the zucchini on a medium grater. You can grind it in a blender, after cutting it into cubes. If the zucchini is too juicy, you can squeeze it a little with your hands, but not too much, so that the cutlets retain their juiciness. Drain off the released juice.
STEP 3

Melt the butter using any of the methods described at the end of the recipe. Cool it down.
STEP 4

Add squash, egg, melted butter, salt and pepper to ground turkey. Peel the garlic and pass through a press into the minced meat. Knead everything until smooth.
STEP 5

If necessary, if the minced meat is too liquid, you can add 1-2 tbsp. l. semolina or breadcrumbs. I did so. How to choose semolina, read the article at the end of this recipe.
STEP 6

After adding the semolina, knead the minced meat thoroughly again until smooth and leave for 20-25 minutes so that the semolina swells and absorbs excess moisture.
STEP 7

With wet hands, form the minced meat into medium-sized cutlets of any shape, I made oblong ones. Cover a baking sheet with foil and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the cutlets on it at a short distance from each other. Bake the cutlets in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30-40 minutes, until golden brown. Times are approximate.
