    Peel the onion and chop finely. Rinse the champignons and dry with napkins. Slice the mushrooms into thin slices.

    Heat 1 tbsp in a frying pan. vegetable oil. Fry the mushrooms and onions over high heat, stirring constantly, until all the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated and an appetizing golden color appears.

    In a separate pan, boil unpeeled carrots and potatoes, as well as eggs. Cool the vegetables and peel them together with the eggs.

    In a frying pan in vegetable oil, fry the chicken fillet, cut into small cubes, until cooked. Don't forget to lightly salt and add your favorite spices.

    Transfer the mushrooms and onions into a deep container. Try to leave the oil that remains after frying in the pan. Add fried meat and mayonnaise. How much mayonnaise should I take? The quantity depends entirely on your taste preferences. I don’t like it when salads “swim” in mayonnaise, so I always use it to a minimum. Mix everything until smooth.

    Place the mushrooms and chicken on the bottom of the serving ring. The recipe used a ring with a diameter of 16 cm.

    Next, make a layer of pickled cucumbers, chopped finely.

    The next layer will be made from potatoes, grated on a coarse grater. Lubricate with a small amount of mayonnaise.

I rarely prepare salads in the form of the symbol of the year, but for this New Year our favorite website offered several interesting options. I decided to try to build such beauty. True, I’m far from an artist, don’t judge too harshly) I chose a salad with chicken and mushrooms, I like their combination. Truth be told, I’ve never added pickles before. It was impossible to get champignons in our city for the New Year) Therefore, I used my reserves of salted valui. My mushrooms were not too salty and in combination with fried onions it turned out just fine. I grated the pickles on a coarse grater and squeezed out the marinade. I added a layer of yolks to the salad; there were a lot of them left after decorating the ears. I took two very large carrots for the finishing layer, and I advise those who will make this salad or a similar one not to spare carrots) It took me a long time to form the face out of habit, but I’m happy with the result. And I really liked the taste of the salad. All products go well together. The salad is tender, juicy, filling and delicious! Thank you very much for the recipe!
