Tiger salad with chicken

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to prepare New Year's Tiger Salad with chicken for the New Year 2022? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. Champignons can be taken either fresh or canned.
STEP 2

Prepare chicken fillet in the same way. This time I used turkey fillet, it is also great for salad.
STEP 3

Peel the onion and chop finely. Rinse the champignons and dry with napkins. Slice the mushrooms into thin slices.
STEP 4

Heat 1 tbsp in a frying pan. vegetable oil. Fry the mushrooms and onions over high heat, stirring constantly, until all the liquid from the mushrooms has evaporated and an appetizing golden color appears.
STEP 5

In a separate pan, boil unpeeled carrots and potatoes, as well as eggs. Cool the vegetables and peel them together with the eggs.
STEP 6

In a frying pan in vegetable oil, fry the chicken fillet, cut into small cubes, until cooked. Don't forget to lightly salt and add your favorite spices.
STEP 7

Transfer the mushrooms and onions into a deep container. Try to leave the oil that remains after frying in the pan. Add fried meat and mayonnaise. How much mayonnaise should I take? The quantity depends entirely on your taste preferences. I don’t like it when salads “swim” in mayonnaise, so I always use it to a minimum. Mix everything until smooth.
STEP 8

Place the mushrooms and chicken on the bottom of the serving ring. The recipe used a ring with a diameter of 16 cm.
STEP 9

Next, make a layer of pickled cucumbers, chopped finely.
STEP 10

The next layer will be made from potatoes, grated on a coarse grater. Lubricate with a small amount of mayonnaise.
STEP 11

Sprinkle evenly with grated cheese and again make a thin layer of mayonnaise.
STEP 12

To shape the ears, cheeks and chin, grate one or two potatoes on a coarse grater, add cheese and mayonnaise and mix.
STEP 13

From the resulting mass, mold the ears and lower part of the tiger’s muzzle, as in the photo.
STEP 14

Grate the carrots on a fine grater.
STEP 15

Cover the entire salad with carrots.
STEP 16

Cut the eggs in half. Separate the yolks from the whites. Grate the yolks, whites and black olives separately on a fine grater.
STEP 17

Using a toothpick, draw the outlines of the tiger's eyes, nose, and muzzle line. This will make it easier to decorate the salad.
STEP 18

Line the bottom of the muzzle with grated egg white.
STEP 19

Also form the eyes.
STEP 20

Use olives to shape the nose, pupils and upper eyelid. Here, for convenience, use a toothpick; it makes it easier to form thin lines from the olives.
STEP 21

Make a mouth, stripes on the tiger's forehead and cheeks. Place the grated yolks in the ear area. Tiger is ready!
STEP 22

Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for a while and serve.
STEP 23

Mix all the layers in your plate and enjoy the amazing taste.
