STEP 1

How to pickle sweet tomatoes without sterilization for the winter? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the recipe. Which tomatoes are better to take? Use ripe, uniformly sized tomatoes with thick skins and no obvious signs of damage for this recipe.
STEP 2

How many tomatoes to take? The quantity indicated in the recipe is conditional. Place tomatoes in jars up to the top. This way you will know the exact amount needed for marinating. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly.
STEP 3

Prepare the garlic and dill umbrellas. Use the amount of garlic to taste. I took one small head of garlic for one jar.
STEP 4

Rinse the umbrellas, peel the garlic and rinse in clean cold water.
STEP 5

Wash the jars and lids thoroughly, preferably with soda and a soft brush. Rinse well in cold water several times. Place a small umbrella of dill and garlic on the bottom of each jar. If desired, add a few peas of black or allspice.
STEP 6

Distribute the tomatoes into the jars up to the top, not too tightly to each other.
STEP 7

Fill each jar with boiling water up to the neck and cover with lids. Leave to stand for about 10 minutes.
STEP 8

Drain the water from the jars into a saucepan and boil the liquid. Fill the jars again and leave for 10 minutes. Next, pour the water into the pan, add salt and sugar. If you want sweeter tomatoes, add 4-5 tbsp. Sahara. I usually add 3.5 tbsp. Bring to a boil over high heat, add vinegar and remove from heat.
STEP 9

Pour the boiling marinade over the tomatoes. Close with lids.
STEP 10

Turn the jars upside down and leave under a warm blanket at room temperature until completely cooled.
STEP 11

Pickled tomatoes are ready for the winter! Store the workpiece in any cool, dark place.
