STEP 1
How to make five-minute blackcurrant jam? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take fresh and ripe currants. First sort the berries well, clean them of debris and stalks, and remove spoiled and unripe berries. Rinse the blackcurrants well using a colander, drain so that all the water is completely drained. STEP 2
Pour the required amount of granulated sugar into a bowl for making jam.
STEP 3
Pour in water in accordance with the specified proportions for jam.
STEP 4
Place the bowl on the stove and bring to a boil. Boil sugar syrup.
STEP 5
When the sugar is completely dissolved, add the prepared blackcurrants to the syrup.
STEP 6
Sterilize the jars. To do this, wash them under running water and soda. And while still wet, place them upside down in a cold oven. Preheat it to 150°C and sterilize 0.5 liter jars for 10 minutes. Wash the lids, boil and dry. Bring the jam to a boil and, skimming off the foam that forms, simmer over low heat for exactly five minutes from the moment it boils. Turn off the stove.
STEP 7
Pour five-minute jam into sterile glass jars and roll up the lids. Turn them upside down and cover them with a blanket until they cool completely. The workpiece can be stored indoors.
STEP 8
