Stewed potatoes with mushrooms and carrots

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
To prepare stewed potatoes with mushrooms, take potatoes, onions, frozen (pre-boiled) mushrooms (in this case, chanterelles and fly mushrooms), sunflower oil for frying, and salt.
STEP 2
Peel all the vegetables, cut the onion and carrots into medium-sized slices.
STEP 3
Peel and wash the potatoes. Starchy, boiled varieties turn out to be very tasty when stewed.
STEP 4
Lightly fry the prepared onion in heated sunflower oil, add carrots to it and continue light frying.
STEP 5
Thaw the mushrooms slightly - this makes them easier to cut. Cut them into small pieces.
STEP 6
Add the mushrooms to the saucepan, simmer until the liquid evaporates, when it almost disappears, lightly simmer the mushrooms in oil with other ingredients.
STEP 7
Cut the potatoes into cubes and add to the saucepan with the vegetables and mushrooms.
STEP 8
Stir, you can also lightly fry. and then add water so that it reaches the surface of the potatoes. This also depends on your desire - whether you want a liquid pouring consistency or a thick one. When the potatoes are soft, salt the dish to taste.
STEP 9
For beauty and additional flavor, you can add cubes of red sweet pepper (optional, according to your desire). Warm up the stewed potatoes with mushrooms a little under the lid and serve immediately while hot.
