Wonderful pie! I wanted to repeat “shortcake with grated raspberry jam,” but there was no raspberry jam. Without hesitation, I found a jar of blackcurrant jam. I decided to cook, the description was excellent, there were no questions. I kneaded the shortbread dough very quickly and without problems. Only instead of soda I used baking powder in the same amount. The result was a very soft, elastic dough that did not stick to your hands. I divided it into 2 pieces, as the author writes. I wrapped the pieces of dough in bags and put them in the freezer. I took a round pan and lined it with parchment. I laid out the dough, but without sides, and brushed it with blackcurrant jam. I grated a smaller piece of dough on top and it already looked appetizing) I baked the shortbread pie in the oven at 180 C for half an hour. The aroma was stunning throughout the entire apartment. Before the cake had time to cool, we had already cut it. The shortbread pie with jam turned out amazingly delicious. The dough is very tender and soft, the filling is delicious. Everyone really liked the pie, even the child ate it with great pleasure and asked for more. I will definitely repeat! Thank you!

Quite a tasty pie made from shortcrust pastry. My mother makes a similar pie and taught me. With raspberry jam - this is one of the sweetest and most delicious versions of this pie. We make the filling mainly with jam, with apples, and in the summer even with apricots. Once with A friend decided to put the filling from boiled condensed milk. It also turned out well.
