    How to bake shortbread pie with cottage cheese and sour cream? Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough. Melt the butter in the microwave or in a water bath and cool slightly. Whisk together the melted butter, sugar and salt.

    Knead a tight dough, gather it into a ball and, covering the bowl with cling film, put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Turn on the oven to warm up to 180 ⁰C.

    After half an hour, remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it into a circle with a diameter larger than the size of the pan in which you will bake the pie. I got a circle with a diameter of 26 cm: 22 cm inside and 4 cm sides. I used a silicone mold. Pre-grease the bottom of the mold with sunflower oil. Prick the dough with a fork. Bake the crust in the oven for 20 minutes. If you don't do this, the pie dough is almost guaranteed to be raw.

    Prepare the necessary ingredients for the filling. Place cottage cheese and sour cream in a container convenient for whipping. Add sugar and vanilla sugar.

I made shortbread pie with cottage cheese and sour cream for breakfast. It is prepared simply and quickly enough. When kneading the dough, I added cane sugar, so it turned brownish in color. I used 9 percent cottage cheese and 25 percent sour cream. Instead of half a glass of sugar, I put only two tablespoons in the filling. Since I was making this pie for breakfast and time was running out, I slightly reduced the cooking time: the shortbread base for the pie was baked for 15 minutes instead of 20, and with the filling 30 minutes instead of 40. But and this time was enough for the pie to be completely cooked. The curd filling turned out to be very tender and airy, simply melting in your mouth. I really liked the contrast of the soft filling and the hard dough. Thank you very much for the recipe!

The most delicious pie that takes nothing to prepare and feeds the whole house! My family loves cottage cheese very much, before I found this recipe, on Fridays we made cheesecakes and sometimes sochniki. I had to tinker with them. But in the case of this masterpiece, everything is much simpler! The cake turns out very tender and airy! Instead of vanilla sugar, I use natural vanilla! The aroma is wonderful! An excellent treat for both family and unexpected guests!
