  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a delicious juicy salad with Chinese cabbage and chicken? Very simple. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. I advise you to start cooking with dressing. You can use any vegetable oil. I use extra virgin olive oil. It is better to take mild mustard; grainy mustard will do just fine. In addition to these ingredients, you can add a little lemon juice.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a bowl, combine olive oil, mustard, honey, salt and pepper. Beat everything thoroughly until smooth. If possible, vegetable oil should be combined with honey and mustard. The dressing is ready.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Now prepare the main ingredients for the salad. You can bake the chicken in the oven like I did, boil it or fry it. You can add vegetables to your taste. You can buy store-bought breadcrumbs or make your own from an oven-dried slice of loaf. I have store-bought crackers. They are fairly coarsely ground and very crispy. You can use any soft cheese (feta, mozzarella, cottage cheese, processed cheese). I have blue mold

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the chicken fillet and dry. Cut the chicken into not very large slices, add salt and pepper.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the fillet in a baking dish, pour over vegetable oil. Place in an oven preheated to 180°C for 10-15 minutes. Focus on your oven. At the same time, you can bake chicken not only in pieces, but also in whole fillets and cut them after baking. Just keep in mind that the whole fillet needs to be baked a little longer so that it is cooked inside, about 20-25 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

While the chicken is baking, chop the remaining ingredients. Wash the Chinese cabbage and cut into large pieces. For convenience, I disassembled the cabbage into leaves.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

You can use any tomatoes for the salad, as long as they are strong so that they retain their shape when slicing. If you have regular tomatoes, cut them into slices. If it's cherry, cut it in half.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Wash the pear, dry it, cut it into 4 parts and remove the seeds. Cut each quarter into not very thick slices. It is better to prepare the pear one of the last, since pears darken quite quickly (especially some varieties). If the skin is not hard, you don’t have to cut it off. I have a pear of the Trout variety.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

The chicken is ready. You can collect salad.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

In a bowl, combine Chinese cabbage, tomatoes, baked chicken and pear.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently, being careful not to overwhelm the tomatoes and pear.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Transfer the salad to a serving platter and spread the blue cheese pieces on top. Just before serving, sprinkle the salad with breadcrumbs. Bon appetit!

I love preparing different salads, especially with chicken. And here is such a great salad with Chinese cabbage and chicken, I immediately wanted to make this salad. The range of products is very interesting and the dressing interested me. I excluded only breadcrumbs from the recipe for my own reasons. According to the author's advice, I first prepared the salad dressing. I used homemade aromatic oil, French mustard, salt, freshly ground pepper, lemon juice and honey. Boil the chicken fillet in salted water until tender. I chose processed cream cheese. My tomatoes are ordinary greenhouse tomatoes, and the pear is a Parisian variety. I prepared one serving of salad and reduced the amount of food using the site’s calculator. We ate it cold. Gorgeous salad! No words! The combination of crispy cabbage with juicy tomatoes and pears, with tender boiled chicken in addition to a fragrant and sweet dressing simply blew me away! Now this masterpiece will be a frequent guest on my table. A very worthy recipe! Many thanks to the author!!!
