  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad with beans and Korean carrots? Prepare the main ingredients for the salad. You can take beans either canned or boiled, according to your choice. Either cook Korean carrots yourself (link below, under the recipe description), or buy ready-made ones at the market or in a store.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the Chinese cabbage well and dry. Cut it into thin strips. Transfer the cabbage to a large salad bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add Korean carrots to the cabbage. Stir.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Drain the liquid from the canned beans (you can then whip up mayonnaise from them). Place the beans in a sieve to drain excess liquid. Place the beans in a salad bowl. Stir the salad.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add croutons to the salad. Again: you can either cook them yourself or buy them store-bought, it’s a matter of taste.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Salt the salad, season it with mayonnaise, add chopped dill. Keep in mind that the crackers will soften quite quickly, so it’s best to serve it right away. Bon appetit!

A wonderful and filling salad. I recommend another salad with beans and regular carrots.

I had very spicy Korean carrots when I bought them. I decided to “dilute” it with other products and made a salad with beans and Korean carrots. To make it quicker, I took canned beans, I even like them better. Korean carrots have been squeezed out of their juice. There was no Chinese cabbage, but the author suggests replacing it with other vegetables. I found instant cabbage in the refrigerator, so I mixed it with beans and carrots. The crackers were prepared with the taste of tomatoes and herbs. Store-bought crackers take longer to soak than homemade ones, so I immediately mixed them into the salad. The salad was served to the table in about 15 minutes. It just had time to brew and soak. It turned out just great! The spicy carrots were softened by other ingredients. The salad is very tasty, juicy and all the ingredients are in perfect harmony!
